Nomad Stone was approached by a client wishing to move a parcel of land with two derelict buildings that had been held by the family for a number of years. The family, unsure of what the land could be used for and how to revive the two derelict buildings, sought Sam's advice.

After some careful planning, one parcel of land was split. The transformation of two derelict buildings took place, reconstructing them into fully refurbished properties, and the creation of an access route allowed entry through to the rear parcel of land, enabling the new build of a further four-bedroom detached dwelling on what was previously unused garden space.

"The Lickey Hills are a wonderful sight to behold and to make the most of the views, full-length doors and Juliette balconies were fitted, creating rooms flushed with light. The new owners woke each morning looking out across the green fields to the hills beyond, this is what Nomad Stone try to achieve with any refurbishment, to use a building's best feature to enhance the living environment."

A strong, profitable solution has been found for owners of a number of separate title deeds who have come together under a unilateral agreement to build 25+ apartments in an area where 'first rung of the ladder' properties are in high demand.

"This project will create affordable homes for the younger generations so that they do not have to live out of area from their families."

Erection of a building comprising 5 × 3-bed units and 3 × 2-bed units. The building would be two storeys in height with single-storey projections to the north and south.

Mac and the team wanted to create something that was beautiful to look at, functional and enjoyable to live in. The original building that was demolished in the 1950s had left quite an ugly site, the finished article enhanced the surroundings for the local community.

Understanding the local council planning directives, building good communications with the planning department and providing strong architectural drawings helped with this particular project.

Tasked with the enlargement of a three-bedroom property to incorporate a further six rooms, creating much needed space and increasing the value of this property.

Ten new builds set within a spacious site in the West Country, just east of Exeter, providing six semi-detached and four detached properties. The priority on this project for Mac and the team was to create a feeling of space between the houses, all of which are set around a green open space.

A long time in the making, Mac set out on this project many years ago. The intention was always to create a vibrant living area for families and couples, the gardens and green space enabling full enjoyment for the community.

Working within permitted development to add value to a beautiful Surrey home. Keeping as many original features as possible, lovingly renovating and adding cameo pieces to enhance the personality of the house, even down to the garden planting and ironwork gates.
