About Nomad Stone
“Potential is all around us, some of us just know how to see it!“
At Nomad Stone we search out potential where others may not see it, by transforming light industrial and commercial units into homes and working environments, and helping land owners make the best use of their real estate by facilitating land assembly projects.
How We Do It
At Nomad Stone we find solutions for unusual or overlooked spaces, buildings and properties. Purchasing outright or facilitating a land mass. Our approach enables us to mitigate risk from the outset. We offer a clear and straight forward process, enabling all stakeholders maximum peace of mind with our positive and resolution driven attitude.
Our team of planning and design professionals, have stacked up over 30 years experience, they communicate positively with local planning authorities and use clever conceptual designs specialising in the handling of planning rights to maximise the projects full potential.
We then set to work on the conversion or construction with our carefully chosen team, bringing underused spaces to life ready for habitation or updated use. With our Project Manager, Construction & Design Team all working closely together each project is given the maximum opportunity for delivering an excellent end product without compromise.
Working with a small panel of investors we provide solid returns through the delivery of successful projects.
Why are we successful?
Our schemes are designed with the best use of space in mind, using well honed financial processes and planning techniques all designed to give each project the best chance of success. Nomad Stone are able to mitigate huge areas of risk by concentrating on Permitted Development Rights.
We value all of our partners and investors, many of whom are repeat investors giving us the opportunity to explore many different projects. We can move quickly with a reliable team in place from the outset.
Fundamentally, we feel that part of our success comes from putting thought into the way people live, including the future of the High Street, working from home, owners wellbeing and the pleasure to be gained from a well designed, well located home.
Part of our ethos is to consider the growing needs of the younger generations, which we achieve with our ‘first step on the ladder’ approach which is incredibly important to us helping buyers achieve their property ownership dreams is integral to this.
We look to enhance the use of a building and the enjoyment of the end user by being creative with the design, retaining unusual features, converting rather than rebuilding, reducing our carbon footprint by reusing materials or creating something that the community will welcome. We use a holistic approach to each project on its own merits.
Our pledge to sustainability is visible throughout our business and with our chosen partners. Taking a reuse/convert approach to the built environment and using sustainable product options gives us the opportunity to make the most impact.
Being socially conscious is what makes Nomad Stone different not only in the property world but generally across most businesses.

“Sam and I have worked on a few projects together over the last seven years, one of which was the complete rewiring of three large commercial buildings (1,284 sq. m in total) set within 3.5 acres in Surrey. The buildings had been left to deteriorate, the electrics required a complete overhaul and bringing in line with building and NICEIC regulations. Open communication and the ability to see around a problem are some of Sam’s strongest skills, I have seen her manage some complex situations on site, handle the site finances and keep up the momentum of the construction phase. I would happily work with Nomad Stone as one of their contractors again at any time in the future, I would also recommend Sam and her company to anyone looking at getting involved in Nomad Stone’s future projects.”
